Mangrove Logging, a Threat to the Ecosystem

Autor(a):

This forest of mangroves is gradually eroding and is in danger of disappearing. As a result, there is climatic imbalance, destabilization of ecosystems, disappearance of marine species, thinning of fishing, collapse of the coastal slope, and floods with their collateral effects. These remarkable consequences are due to the fact that the population cuts the mangrove wood for domestic and commercial purposes. Pollution by petroleum products and unregulated construction also affect the growth of mangroves.

Without a palliative reaction to save this park, there is a risk of experiencing a catastrophic situation in the coastal region whose population lives from fishing and small trade.
