The College of William & Mary

REPORTING FELLOW

The College of William and Mary, the second oldest college in the nation, was the Pulitzer Center's first Campus Consortium program participant. In fall 2011, the Pulitzer Center and the College of William and Mary launched The Sharp Writer-in-Residence Program, an alumni-donor supported initiative developed to connect Pulitzer Center journalists with students of William and Mary. Over the course of a three-credit seminar, students are mentored by the journalists and learn how to communicate to broad audiences about topics they have researched in depth. In fall 2011, students Ani-Rae Lovell, Dylan Kolhoff, Gabrielle Names, Jasmine Rodenburg, Kate Furguson, Lisa Sthreshley, Mitch Caudill, Morgan Barker, Rachel Wallace and Sharon Hartzell were mentored by Pulitzer Center journalists David Rochkind, Jina Moore and Stephanie Hanes.
