Brody Friedan

Brody Frieden (he/him/his) currently serves as an Academic Success Advisor with Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. He is also pursuing a Master of Education degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University, and he is set to graduate in May 2023. Brody is a higher education scholar-practitioner dedicated to equitable access to higher education and collegiate honors education which he believes can foster unique academic exploration and engagement for any and all students. Born and raised in the cornfields of rural west-central Illinois, Brody earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Illinois State University. Prior to Barrett, The Honors College and Arizona State University, Brody served as an Academic Advisor at Illinois State University and as an Admissions Counselor at Eureka College. He is an avid volunteer with the nationally-renowned youth leadership organization, Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), and hopes to inspire those around him to initiate change big and small in their communities.
