Elizabeth Adetiba is a rising 3rd-year at The University of Chicago majoring in Political Science, with a minor in Human Rights. Elizabeth is also pursing specializations in Comparative Politics and International Relations.
At UChicago, she conducts research under Professor Monika Nalepa on the implementation of transitional justice in post-revolutionary states, focusing on African and Middle Eastern countries. She has also worked for the Wendy R. Davis for Governor campaign as a research intern. She is a strong advocate for human and civil rights, and hopes to one day use her skills and insights to fight for the safeguard of those rights abroad.
She is thrilled to be joining the Pulitzer team this summer!
