Lea Trusty is a program associate at the Democracy Fund, where she leads initiatives centered around equity, inclusion and diversity through their journalism partnerships. Trusty was a Newman's Own Foundation Fellow and used to work at WSHU Public Radio covering stories about social justice and abuses of power.
