Marley Cogan


Marley Cogan is a documentary producer whose work has primarily focused on revealing inequities in American society. Cogan began her career in non-fiction storytelling as an associate producer for The Marshall Project's We Are Witnesses, an Emmy-nominated short video series that explored the human cost of the criminal justice system through intimate first-person narratives.

Cogan’s work has appeared in The New Yorker and on BET, A&E Networks, Refinery29, and EPIX, covering a range of topics, including voting rights, racial justice, labor organizing, and criminal justice reform.

She is currently working on a multi-part documentary directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ezra Edelman.
