Our project is a dynamic collaboration between Lindblom High School's Theater and Black Cinema student programs and the Honors US History Classes. The project is rooted in the foundational themes of democracy explored by The 1619 Project. Our initiative aims to deepen student understanding of slavery's enduring legacy and its profound impact on American democratic ideals and media.
