Lue Palmer

Climate and environmental journalist Lue Palmer (they/them) was born in rural Canada, is based in New Orleans, and has roots in Jamaica. Palmer was at the forefront of reporting on Louisiana's first extreme-heat emergency, the saltwater intrusion crisis, and efforts to rebuild the hurricane buffer in New Orleans East.
A multimedia journalist, Palmer is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
