Daniel Gonzalez

Daniel Gonzalez is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist at The Arizona Republic with more than four decades of experience in print and digital media.
Gonzalez was a lead writer for The Wall, which earned the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting. He has also received numerous other honors, including being named Virg Hill Arizona Journalist of the Year twice.
He has reported extensively along the U.S.-Mexico border, throughout Mexico, and from Guatemala, Panama, Puerto Rico, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Northern Ireland.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, Gonzalez has taught journalism at the college level.
