Timothy “Urban Thoughts” Moore is an award-winning nationally awarded Memphis educator, heavily awarded spoken word artist, published poet, and a community builder whose work bridges art, advocacy, and education. Recognized by Walt Disney World as one of the “Top 50 Innovative Educators & Storytellers,” Moore empowers students to think critically, write boldly, and lead with purpose. He has been awarded a United States Congressional Certificate of Special Recognition for Outstanding Service in Education and Community Service, as well as Congressional Recognition for Community Service and Arts Leadership and a Tennessee State Proclamation of Artistic Excellence for advancing arts education and youth empowerment across Memphis and beyond.
