Fergus Thomas

Fergus Thomas is a British photographer who creates evocative work exploring humanity's relationship to the natural world. His main focus is photography, but his practice also includes film and sculpture.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in documentary photography from the former University of Wales, Newport, and a master's degree in photography from the University of the West of England.
Thomas's work has been exhibited across the U.K. and internationally, including at the Warsaw photo-days in Poland and the Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant in London.
His work has appeared in various publications, including Granta magazine, The Telegraph Magazine, and The Washington Post. His work has been recognized with numerous grants and awards, including from Arts Council Wales.
Most recently, Thomas has undertaken photo assignments in Myanmar, South Africa, and Wales.
