Eliezer Budasoff, an award-winning journalist and editor from Argentina, is the editor and co-host of the podcast El hilo.
He has worked as editor of special projects at El País América. Previously, he was the editorial director of The New York Times en Español and an editor at Etiqueta Negra, a narrative nonfiction magazine.
In 2011, Budasoff won the Las Nuevas Plumas award for narrative journalism in Spanish, and in 2021 he was awarded the Gabriel García Márquez journalism prize.
His work has been published in U.S. and European media outlets and has been translated into English, Italian, French, German, and Portuguese.
