Milagros Salazar

Milagros Salazar is an investigative journalist and university professor specialized in data reporting. She is the director of the Lima, Peru-based investigative newsroom Convoca.
Salazar coordinated Investiga Lava Jato (Investigate Lava Jato), a cross-border project with 20 journalists from 11 countries in Latin America and Africa, to develop and disseminate in-depth reports on a global corruption scheme. She has worked as a reporter and editor at various national daily newspapers in Peru, including La República, where she specialized in covering political issues and social-environmental conflicts.
