Maximiliano Manzoni

Maximiliano Manzoni is an Uruguayan climate journalist based in Paraguay.
From 2016 to 2024, he led investigations at El Surtidor, winning the Gabo Award in 2018. He runs Consenso, a media outlet focused on climate, justice, and misinformation, which won the National Prize for Scientific Journalism.
Manzoni has received grants from the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy and the European Forest Institute. He is a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network and a 2025 Bertha fellow.
