Dorcas Ekupe

Dorcas Ekupe is a reporter based in Northern Cameroon, with at least six years of professional experience.
She corresponds for Ireland's RTÉ and Unzipped Stories Africa, and writes for The Continent. The journalist has received recognition for her work, including a Labour Migration Media Award in 2020.
Ekupe covers security, gender, the environment, and other issues. She is the founder and national coordinator of the Cameroon Network of Female Journalists Reporting Crises, an organization empowering female journalists to report effectively on conflicts and humanitarian crises.
