Linda Matsumoto is an Asian American Activist and AAPI Inclusive History Advocate who has served multiple roles in education, including adjunct faculty member at a private college, and as a guest educator (Building Substitute) for the past decade in her local School District in Illinois. She was the first AAPI Educator to receive the prestigious Reg Weaver Human & Civil Rights Award in 2023 from the Illinois Education Association, which has 135,000 active members.
