Nate Smallwood

Nate Smallwood is a freelance photojournalist and documentary filmmaker based in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Smallwood earned a degree from Ohio University School of Visual Communication. Following internships with the Columbus Crew (MLS), and the Detroit Free Press, Smallwood worked as a staff photographer at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review from 2016 to 2021.
Smallwood is a member of Diversity.Photo, National Association of Press Photographers (NPPA), Pittsburgh Black Media Federation (PBMF), and Video Consortium.
