Ernest Waititu

Ernest Waititu, a native of Kenya, is founder and editor of Afrikanews.org. Waititu has worked as a journalist for the last ten years.

He interned with the CNN International Desk in Atlanta and has written for The Standard, The Nation and The EastAfrican in Kenya as well as The Indypedent in New York, BBC Focus, and AlterNet.

He is also a reporter with The Common Language Project (CLP).

Waititu has a masters degree in journalism from E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University, where he earlier earned a Master of Arts in International Affairs. Waititu received his first degree in English and Literature from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya.
