Sean McGoey

Sean McGoey is a master's candidate in multiplatform journalism at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism. His work has been published in C-Ville Magazine, The Diamondback, Source of the Spring, The Greenbelt News Review, USA Today High School Sports and elsewhere. He is also one of the founders and hosts of the It's Pretty OK podcast.
Prior to returning to school, Sean worked for a marketing agency in Charlottesville, Va., analyzing performance data for digital advertising campaigns. He also ran a website devoted to high school sports for WWL-TV in New Orleans and interned in product design and development for Gannett in McLean, Va.
Sean is a native of New Orleans and a 2014 graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in economics.
