Nadia Ramlagan

GUEST CONTRIBUTOR

Nadia Ramlagan loves interviewing iconic characters, a good underdog story, and transforming electronic tape into gold. Before broadcast news, she spent several years writing about neuroscience, genetics, climate, and the latest in scientific discovery for AAAS, the publisher of Science Magazine. After that, she worked for the Center for Emerging Media and The Marc Steiner Show (a daily public affairs program) in Baltimore, Maryland, where she produced a radio documentary examining how a Confederate monument ended up in one of Baltimore's landmark public spaces. More recently, Ramlagan launched an oral history project in collaboration with the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History. She studied at Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies and hosts a podcast focused on women in country music.
