Jonatan Rodríguez

Jonatan Rodríguez is a Colombian sociologist and development professional with 12 years of experience leading impact, communications, and audience engagement strategies for international NGOs and public-interest organizations. As Senior Program Manager at the Pulitzer Center, he leads regional strategies to expand the reach, engagement, and impact of investigative journalism across Latin America, while overseeing digital campaigns across the organization’s international programs.
His work focuses on connecting social and environmental causes, movements, and investigative journalism with new audiences, communities, civil society, and institutions. He brings expertise in climate and environmental journalism, strategic communications, digital campaigns, and audience engagement, and has led regional programs, partnerships, campaigns, and events across Latin America and internationally. Jonatan is also a speaker and moderator at major journalism and public-interest forums, including Festival Gabo, the Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC), the iMEdD International Journalism Forum, and other international gatherings.
Before joining the Pulitzer Center, Jonatan was Colombia Country Manager at Change.org and Latin America Editor at openDemocracy. He holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Development.
