Audrey Fromson

REPORTING FELLOW

Audrey Fromson is a University of Chicago student studying Creative Writing with a nonfiction focus and Spanish. She was previously a Communications Intern at WhyHunger, a food justice nonprofit based in New York City, where she wrote about the history of stolen land in the United States and harmful pesticide use in Hawaii. She created a short documentary highlighting students at the University of Chicago impacted by DACA policy and is currently completing a story about LGBTQ undocumented immigrants living in New York City 50 years post-Stonewall.
