Elders on the Exploitation of the Forests and Policies for Sustainable Usage

This project focuses on the perspective elders have on the exploitation of the forests and policies for the sustainable use of forests for economic growth during and after the pandemic.

The large-scale exploitation of the ecosystem and the absence of its sustainable management plan have had negative consequences on the lives of the people living in the region. Today, the situation seems to be in a critical condition, calling for a closer look in order to find out what has changed among the people and between them and the forest.
