Danielle DuClos

Danielle DuClos is an investigative reporter for the Cap Times, where her work focuses on holding government and private-sector officials accountable to the public.
DuClos previously worked at the Green Bay Press-Gazette, part of the USA TODAY-Wisconsin Network, covering education as a Report for America corps member. She uncovered the Green Bay School District's botched investigation into a sexual abuse report against a second-grade teacher, which allowed him to stay in the classroom. Years later, more students came forward with similar reports of abuse and the teacher was charged and convicted.
Her reporting has been recognized by the Milwaukee Press Club, the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, and the Education Writers Association.
DuClos is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism with degrees in investigative reporting and political science.
