Giorgos Christides
GRANTEE
With over 20 years of experience in print, broadcast, and online media, Giorgos Christides has worked for Der Spiegel and the BBC. He specializes in cross-border investigative journalism and human rights reporting, particularly migration.
His work has received a number of awards, including the European Press Prize (Runner-up 2024), IJ4EU Impact Award (2024, 2023, 2022), De Tegel Award (2022), and the European Parliament Journalism Award (2009).
He is a lecturer and doctoral candidate on media and migration at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
