Hannah Camille Greene is a master's student in environmental health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where her research interests focus on climate change, hazard exposures, and human disease.

After surviving a devastating tractor accident while working for an agricultural sustainability startup in West Africa, she bicycled 4,860 kilometers (3,019 miles) across Southeast Asia, mostly solo. Bikepacking, leading public health research, and working on farms have taken her across more than 30 countries in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in social research and public policy alongside the pre-medical track at New York University Abu Dhabi. 

She speaks French, Malay, and Indonesian.
