Jessie Li

REPORTING FELLOW

Jessie Li studies English at Davidson College. She is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus Davidson and the Editor-in-Chief of Davidson's oldest literary journal Hobart Park.
Her interest in educational access stems from years of teaching, as she has tutored children, taught under-served students in Hong Kong through Breakthrough Collaborative, and created a summer writing curriculum for first-year English majors at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
Passionate about both journalistic and creative writing, Jessie has received recognition from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the National YoungArts Foundation, and the Norman Mailer Center, among others. Her work has been featured in Rookie, The Cadaverine, The Adroit Journal, NPR/WPSU's This I Believe, and elsewhere.
