Vicente Calderón is founder and editor in chief of Tijuanapress.com. With more than 30 years practicing journalism on both sides of the border, Calderón understands as few others do the dynamic and complex region that defines México and the United States.
Calderón is Tijuana native and a graduate of the School of Clinical Psychology of CETYS Universidad in his hometown. Calderón got his start in radio in Tijuana in the mid-1980s, then anchoring for XEWT in Tijuana and covering San Diego. Later worked as a television news anchor and reporter in Los Angeles. He now produces news in both English and Spanish for a variety of outlets including CBS News, ITN of England and Al Jazeera and national Mexican media like Milenio TV.
