Emmanuela Liyong Erasto is a freelance journalist working in South Sudan. She speaks both English and Arabic.
She has a bachelor's degree in English and French from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. She has worked for both print and broadcast outlets. She is currently senior reporter for Almaugif, an Arabic daily newspaper based in Juba.
Her reporting mostly covers health and women's issues and rights.
