Thea Xinyi Gu
2018 W&M REPORTING FELLOW
Thea Xinyi Gu is a senior at the College of William & Mary, class of 2018, majoring in English. On campus, she works as a consultant at the Writing Resource Center, volunteers as a Peer Leader for international students, and actively engages in activities with Cru. Her interest in English Learner education derived from her Urban Education winter seminar in D.C., 2017, where she witnessed struggles of some English learners in math classes during the school visits. After graduation, she plans to pursue a PhD in Comparative Literature or Education.
