Rachel Layko
2019 W&M REPORTING FELLOW
My name is Rachel Layko and I am a senior at the College of William & Mary, majoring in Biology and minoring in Marine Science. I am from Apex, North Carolina. I tutor elementary school students with Lafayette Kids, work as a Teacher's Assistant for the Introduction to GIS class, conduct research in the Geoquery lab on campus, and enjoy playing volleyball. I will be graduating in May and plan to apply to graduate school where I hope to pursue my interest in marine science and policy and continue to grow my skills as a science communicator.
