John Soper
REPORTING FELLOW
John Soper is a rising senior majoring in political science with a minor in philosophy at Davidson College. After interning for The Nature Conservancy, he became interested in how environmental issues can turn local concerns into international disputes.
John grew up in Dunwoody, Georgia, and has had a passion for journalism since high school when he was a sports writer for his local newspaper, The Dunwoody Crier. He believes that having a free and responsible press is a cornerstone for effective governance and a stable society.
