Alec Luhn is a journalist focused on climate, conflict, and migration whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, BBC, CBS, The Guardian, National Geographic, The New York Times, TIME, among others.

Formerly a Moscow correspondent for VICE News and a Scripps environmental journalism fellow, he reported from a town invaded by polar bears, the only floating nuclear power plant, and the coldest permanently inhabited place on Earth.

He has been nominated for an Emmy and has been named a finalist for the Covering Climate Now awards.
