Alex Baluku joined the media industry in 2013 as a radio journalist doing news reporting and reading. He reported issues related to climate change, environmental degradation, and health. Currently he is specializing in science and water journalism.
He has received training from the National Association of Science Writers (NASW), the African Center for Media Excellence (ACME), Friends of Zoka, Global Forest Watch, Global Investigative Journalism Network, and Earth Journalism Network.
