Alexandra Narváez is a founding member and the first woman to join "La Guardia," a group of 25 volunteers which patrols their territory in the Ecuadorian Amazon and will talk about who she successfully fought against mining on their ancestral lands to have won the most international environmental prize, the Goldman Prize, which recognizes her grassroots activism.
