Alice Martins Morais

Alice Martins Morais is a freelance writer journalist born and raised in the Brazilian Amazon, based in Belém (host of COP30). She is a specialist in scientific communication and likes to combine science, environment, and Amazon in her stories. Recently, she was a Earth Journalism Network fellow (2024), dedicated to covering the ocean. Among the outlets she has written for in recent years are Amazônia Vox, ((o))eco, Climate Home News, Climate Tracker Latin América, and Um Só Planeta.
