Alison McKellar
GUEST SPEAKER
Alison McKellar, vice chair of the Camden Select Board in Maine, grew up in Camden. She attended the Children's House Montessori School, Appleton Village School, and Camden Hills Regional High School.
McKellar attended college at Stetson University in Florida on a full academic scholarship, where she majored in sociology and Spanish. After graduating, McKellar lived and worked throughout Latin America as a translator and volunteer coordinator for various nonprofit organizations.
Since her return to Camden, she has worked in jobs ranging from bartending to legal blogging, to freelance web design, to teaching Spanish.
