Angela Oketch

Angela Oketch is a senior health reporter and acting vaccine editor passionate about telling health, science and human interest stories.
She is a feature writer working with the Nation Media Group's print newspaper, the Daily Nation which has the widest circulation in Kenya and the East African region.
Angela has held several positions in the media, rising through the ranks with her current position being the health beat leader at the Daily Nation.
Angela has won several awards, eight local and two regional awards including the best health print reporter for consecutive four years. She has also received Presidential Honors, the Mzalendo category from President Uhuru Kenyatta for her exemplary work on Covid-19 coverage.
Ms Oketch was also the only African who participated in the Columbia University fellowship that saw her receive training on investigative reporting.
