Anna Hamilton

Anna Hamilton is co-founder and director of The Marjorie. She is a radio producer and oral historian whose work explores the cultures and environments of the American South.
She received a bachelor's in humanities from New College of Florida and a master's in Southern studies from the University of Mississippi.
Hamilton has developed projects for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Southern Foodways Alliance, and she has reported for media outlets, including NPR and Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting.
She is currently the project director of Matanzas Voices, a multimedia oral history project documenting life and work along northeast Florida’s Matanzas River.
