Claudia Báez is an investigative data journalist, co-founder, and data editor of Cuestión Pública, a Colombian investigative media outlet. She was one of the architects of the most complete databases on Colombia’s armed conflict built at the National Center of Historical Memory. She covered the 2016 U.S. elections in ProPublica. Claudia is obsessed with supporting investigative journalism using technology and data-driven journalism.
She has a Master’s degree in Economics and Social Development Studies at Sorbonne University in Paris. In 2015 and 2016, Claudia received journalism-related awards as part of collaborative journalistic productions, including Ortega y Gasset, Inter-American Press Association, and IPYS Investigative Journalism.
