TEACHER FELLOW, AI TEACHER ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBER

Danielle Jo White‑Yelito is an educator and professional development presenter based in the Greater Boston area, licensed in general science, biology, music, and Sheltered English Immersion. She teaches environmental science, biology, and physics at Greater Lowell Technical High School, where she centers inquiry, equity, and community‑rooted learning. White‑Yelito is a Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet  member, a former member of the New England Flute Orchestra of Indian Hill Music, and a Science Communication Lab ambassador. Her work focuses on elevating multilingual learners, advancing environmental education, and integrating local history and storytelling to deepen student engagement and agency.

Through the 2025 Pulitzer Center Teacher Fellowship, White-Yelito explores the intersection of global storytelling, environmental justice, and community-based education.
