Elliott Adams

COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR, K-12 EDUCATION

Elliott Adams is the Communications and Marketing Assistant for the Pulitzer Center K-12 Education team. Prior to joining the Pulitzer Center, she worked as the Digital Communications Specialist for the largest school district in the state of Arizona, running award-winning social media and enrollment campaigns. She also worked as a production assistant and social media intern with the City of Phoenix's television station, PHXTV. She also worked as a student journalist and engagement specialist for the Public Insight Network Bureau, an organization dedicated to connecting journalists with diverse sources and encouraging public participation in news gathering. Elliott holds an AA from Mesa Community College, as well as a BA from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. 

She is passionate about social justice, equity (especially digital equity) and inclusion in education, and advocates for affordable and accessible higher education. 

In her spare time, Elliott is a lifelong animal lover who is passionate about animal welfare, preventing animal cruelty, and helping find loving and caring homes for animals in need. She also likes art museums, live music, oddities and curiosities, and making lists.
