Gabriel Farías

Gabriel Farías, a data journalist and academic, leads the Special Projects Desk at Amenaza Roboto, a science and technology news website. Farías has covered science and technology at several international media outlets, including El País, Folha de S. Paulo, Clarín, Agencia EFE, and La Prensa. He is the former editor-in-chief of 180 Ciencia, and the former tech and science columnist of No Toquen Nada. He won a Sigma Award for his journalism work in 2023.
In addition, Farías is the former communication manager at Ceibal, the Uruguayan government’s educational innovation center that promotes the integration of technologies in education.
