Guillermo Soberón Tirado

Guillermo Soberón Tirado is a photographer, videographer, and musician based in Guaymas, Sonora.

Over the past decade, he’s captured midnight volcanic eruptions in Colima and documented political protesters in Mexico City. He’s chronicled the surfing lifestyle in Michoacán; Mayan ruins in the jungles of Yaxchilán, Chiapas; and Guaymas pearl farmers’ annual harvest on the Sea of Cortez.

As a videographer, he's directed music videos and animated absurdist nature mockumentaries. His photography has been published in the Arizona Daily Star, In Color Magazine, Hotbook magazine, and other outlets.

He graduated from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey with a degree in industrial design.
