Jack Brook is an associate editor with CamboJA News and a freelance journalist based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
He was previously a staff writer at the Southeast Asia Globe, and his reporting has been featured in several media outlets, including The Christian Science Monitor, The Jerusalem Post, and Al Jazeera.
As an Engage Media Tech Tales fellow, Brook produced a short documentary in 2021 about an incarcerated Cambodian rapper.
After graduating from Brown University with a degree in history in 2019, he moved to Cambodia as a 2020-2021 Henry Luce Scholar and began to study the Khmer language.
Brook was born and raised in Palo Alto, California.
