Jackeline Elizabeth Beltrán Aguilar (Cuenca, 1991) is a researcher and writer in Morona Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe.

Beltrán specializes in new narratives. She is the editor of multimedia content at El Mercurio newspaper in Cuenca. She was a correspondent for El Comercio newspaper and was part of the founding team of La Andariega, the first independent digital media in Cuenca. In 2019 she took over as deputy editor of the public newspaper El Tiempo. She worked in the production of La Mandrágora, a cultural space that was broadcast on digital platforms. She has also collaborated with the digital media platforms La Historia, La Barra Espaciadora, GK, and Primicias.

In 2015 Beltrán earned a grant to pursue a postgraduate degree in journalism at El Mundo newspaper in Spain, where she worked on the Papel supplement. In 2020 she was a grant recipient at SembraMedia's school for entrepreneurial journalists.
