Jacob Aman

Jacob Aman directs the community and site-based stewardship programs at the Wells Reserve in Wells, Maine, managing priority habitat and species in cooperation with state and federal partners and advancing coastal habitat conservation through local and regional initiatives.
Recently he supported the development of "Climate Ready Coast Southern Maine," the first coastal resilience plan in Maine, as well as the development of the new CoastWise Approach for ecologically supportive tidal road crossing design. Aman lives with his family in Biddeford, Maine, where he recently served on the Biddeford Climate Force to develop a climate action plan for the city.
