Jason Martinez

Jason Martinez is a computer scientist focused on innovative tools and applications for investigative journalism. He is co-founder and chief technology officer of Salud Con Lupa.
Martinez was co-author of the project Scientifically Proven: An Analysis of the Most Used Treatments Against COVID-19, finalist for the Gabo Award 2021 and Sigma Awards 2022. He has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the National University of Engineering and was a fellow of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics in Rio de Janeiro for the 2D Computer Graphics Program in 2015.
He has been a mentor for digital projects of the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) in Latin America and a trainer in data analysis and new digital narratives.
