Josephine Chinele

Josephine Chinele is a Malawian multi-award-winning, international, investigative journalist. She has 19 years of media experience across various platforms, and she has worked in newsrooms in Malawi, South Africa, and Tanzania.
Chinele completed an internship at the Los Angeles Times in the State Department Professional Investigative Journalism Fellowship in 2018.
She has also been awarded several journalism fellowships in the areas of HIV/AIDS, health, and human rights, among others. In addition, Chinele is an AVAC Biomedical HIV Prevention Advocacy fellowship alumni.
