Kouam Joel Honoré is a freelance video journalist and content producer based in Douala, Cameroon.
He has been a contributor to The Associated Press since 2015, and joined Africanews in 2016. In 2018, he was recruited to join BBC staff in Yaoundé, Cameroon, but returned to freelancing in November 2020.
As a freelancer, his work has appeared in Africanews, Euronews, The Associated Press, Reuters, and Al Jazeera English.
Honoré graduated with a master's in journalism from the Ecole Supérieure du Journalisme de Paris' Douala, Cameroon, campus. He has a degree in bilingual letters in English and French obtained at the University of Douala in Cameroon.
Honoré is passionate about history, art, discovery, travel, television, and likes to travel to talk to people about their stories. He is a lover and defender of nature and traditions.
